In a case of Déjà Vu , Malcolm Turnbull’s submission in reply to the Fair Work Commission is as weak and pathetic as its original submission and fails to do anything to stop people’s pay being cut.
 

Two months have passed since Australians learned about the decision to cut penalty rates, and Malcolm Turnbull and his Liberals have done nothing to stop this devastating blow to low income workers.
 

In 1902, female telegraphists led by Louisa Dunkley at the Post and Telegraph Department of Victoria, fought a vigorous battle and in a somewhat historic feat won equal pay for women in the Commonwealth Public Service Act.


Today marks one year since a young man tragically died on a Work for the Dole site in Toowoomba.

After today's Easter Monday public holiday, time is running out to stop penalty rates being cut.
