Scott Morrison must stop hiding his secret IR agenda, and reveal how he plans to keep wages down and continue to attack job security.

This election will be a choice between a Shorten Labor Government, that will restore penalty rates and make sure workers are protected, or more of the Liberal’s cuts and chaos.

We need real change – because more of the same isn’t good enough.

At a time of record low wages growth and rising insecure work, Scott Morrison yesterday made inflammatory comments attacking unions – he never puts workers first.

It’s time he was upfront with the Australian public about what he is hiding.  It’s clear he has a plan to stifle workers’ rights, he just won’t tell Australians because he knows they will outright object to them.

Attacking unions and workers is part of the Liberals’ DNA.  Let’s not forget - they never had an election mandate for WorkChoices - springing what was a gross attack on workers’ rights on the Australian public once they got elected.

The Liberals’ treatment of workers for the past six years has been appalling. To add salt to the wound, Scott Morrison’s Liberal Party is happy to take money at a fundraiser from a billionaire that up until recently used unfair WorkChoices-era agreements which left workers worse off than the award.

It says everything about this Government that they would prefer to cosy up with billionaire Mr Hemmes over cocktails in his Vaucluse mansion to bankroll their
re-election campaign, rather than stand up for workers.

Labor has a suite of policies to address stagnant wages and insecure work.  Scott Morrison has absolutely nothing to help workers but has a secret plan to hurt them.

The only thing he and his government is willing to stand up for is the top end of town.

After six years of Liberal cuts and chaos, our united Labor team is ready to deliver a fair go for all Australians.

If you want a fair go for all Australians - vote Labor.
